One platform. Every business you run.
A parent org can run any number of businesses underneath it — each with its own chart of accounts, currency and email senders — all reachable from one login, with one consolidated view across the group.

How the apps connect.
Six apps, one shared ledger. A record created in one shows up correctly in every other, because there is only one copy of it.
- The same customer record is visible across CRM, Books and Support — no separate contact lists to reconcile.
- A won deal becomes a quote, then a sales order, then an invoice and a payment — without re-keying a line.
- Inventory movements — receipts, shipments, transfers — post to the ledger automatically.
Customer created in CRM
A contact or company is created once, with its own owner and share list.
CRMSame record in Books & Support
Books and Support open against that same record — no separate contact list to reconcile.
Books · SupportWon deal becomes quote → sales order → invoice
The pipeline hands off to commerce and the ledger without re-keying a line.
CRM · Commerce · BooksConsolidated in the group view
The same record rolls up into the "All businesses" view, still scoped to the entity it belongs to.
Analytics
One login, one ledger — every business scoped, every group consolidated.
Scoped per business, consolidated per group.
Every record — deal, invoice, ticket, journal entry — belongs to exactly one business. Access and reporting can widen to the whole group; the data boundary never silently does.
- Every business keeps its own chart of accounts and base currency.
- Every business sends email from its own configured senders.
- Reports and dashboards roll up into one consolidated, group-level view.
- Every record carries its business — nothing leaks across the boundary you didn't grant.
Built to be found when it breaks.
No system is unfinished quietly. When something fails, it says so — to the person hitting it and to whoever has to fix it.
A reference for every error
Every failed request stamps one request-id, echoed on the error page and on every log line for that request — quotable, so a report is one grep, not a guess.
Not found vs. not permitted
A record that exists but is out of your scope is logged as a scope mismatch, never rendered as a generic 404 — so a permissions problem never looks like missing data.
Soft delete, always
Nothing is gone until someone empties it. Deleted records move to Trash first and can be restored, per business.
An audit trail that holds up
Who changed what, and when, is recorded across the ledger and the record store — not bolted on after the fact.
Work faster.
The interface stays out of the way: keyboard-first, realtime, and consistent whether you're in CRM, Books or Support.
Command palette
Jump to any record or action with ⌘K — no menu hunting.
Dark theme
Every app, every screen, one flip — the whole suite has a real dark theme.
Realtime inbox
Support's shared inbox updates live, with agent handoff as it happens.

Common questions.
What is a "business" in Countmill?
A business is a scoped entity under your parent org — its own chart of accounts, base currency, email senders and records. A group with three brands runs three businesses under one login.
Can I see numbers across all my businesses at once?
Yes — the "All businesses" view consolidates reports and dashboards across the group, while every underlying record still carries the business it belongs to.
Does access control apply per app, per business, or both?
Both. RBAC scopes are per app (CRM, Books, Support, …) and every record is scoped to a business, so a person's access is the intersection of the two.
What happens when someone deletes a record by mistake?
It moves to that business's Trash, not gone. It can be restored from there; nothing is hard-deleted by a single click.
